According to the latest statistics from the Singapore Ministry of Manpower, the number of job vacancies has increased by 6600 to 55,900 in Q2 2011. The labor market remains tight with 116 vacancies for every 100 job seekers.
The job vacancies are mainly in the Services Sector. PMETs account for almost half of all vacancies, with the remainder split equially between clerical and production workers.
