The National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) has announced that workers can expect higher bonuses and salary increments this year, in line with the robust growth in the economy.

Speaking at a tri-partite forum, Minister Lim Swee Say highlighted bonuses of at least 2.7 months, inclusive of the 13th month annual wage supplement.  Salaries can also expect to rise by 3.5 to 4%, compared to about only 1% this year.
